Tami Groothuis (7) is tentatively planning on having a lumpectomy on August 4 at Lack’s Cancer Center followed by six weeks of radiation therapy. Need for chemotherapy will be based on surgical findings. Pray that the surgeon will be able to remove all the cancer and chemo will not be needed. Continue to keep Isaac Postma, son of Arden and Deb Postma (1), in your prayers as they deal with his struggles with SMA.
Jerry Van Den Berg (2) will submit to double knee replacement surgery on Wednesday, July 30 and Friday, August 1 at Spectrum Blodgett. Following surgery he will remain at Blodgett for recovery and rehab.
Chris Vander Slice’s (5) bone marrow biopsy went without issue and is waiting for the results. Plans were to start Course 4 of chemo treatments this past Friday. Congratulations to Zach and Deb Blacquire (5) in the birth of a daughter, Mya Jane, on Friday, November 5.
