February 14-March 27: …by his WOUNDS we are…

In his great wisdom, God transformed the cross, a picture of defeat and shame, into our source of power.  Isaiah prophesied about our healing that would come through suffering and Paul then recognized that “The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1 Cor. 1:18)  During these weeks of Lent preparing us for the cross and the empty tomb on Easter, we explore together how the power of the cross transforms our lives both for eternity and for today.
