Student Ministries at Ivanrest are designed to encourage students to encounter the living presence of Jesus. We utilize relationships between fellow students and adults to build a strong community at Ivanrest. This community is also built upon worship times together, strong Biblical teachings, and activities that promote growth. Middle school students will always have adults who care for them and desire to share God’s love with them. Ivanrest Student Ministries would not exist without these leaders who care deeply for each student who walks through our doors. We strive to enable each student to feel a sense of belonging and joy as they encounter God at Large Group and Home Group meetings throughout the year.
Ivanrest Youth: Middle School
Ivanrest Youth: Middle School is committed to fostering a fun, loving, and safe environment for students to take steps in experiencing the love and an authentic relationship with the Lord and their brothers and sisters in Christ. Through meals, worship, biblical teaching, small group discussion and team building, games, retreats, service projects, and more, students will discover their place in God’s redemptive history, feel the deep love of God and Christian community, and come to more fully understand their identity as children of God!
Middle School Large Group: Meets at Ivanrest Church’s West Wing the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 6:00-8:00pm. During a typical Large Group all of our middle school students come together to share a meal, worship together, hear relevant biblical teaching, go deeper with their small groups, and participate in a variety of fun games/activities.
Gather and Grow: Middle School
Gather and Grow: Middle School: This ministry for middle school students meets on Sunday mornings following Ivanrest’s worship service (11:15am – 12:00pm). Through Gather and Grow students will be equipped to with deeper knowledge of Scripture, the Reformed tradition, and who they are as children of God.
West Wing Wednesday
After a long day at school, what could be better than hanging out with friends in a laid-back, safe environment, eating snacks, and participating in fun games and activities? On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, the West Wing is open to middle school (6th-8th grade) students from 2:30-4:00 PM. No agenda...no sign-up...just plain old fun! (Parents...please be prompt in picking up your child at 4:00 PM. Thanks!)
Elevate Retreat - 2023
This will be a weekend you'll talk about for years! Invite your friends and register for one of the LIMITED spots today!!!
Have a great time building memories on 3 sledding hills, archery tag, snowshoeing, climbing the ice wall, or getting competitive in a broomball tournament! The fun doesn't stop when it is time for chapel though. We will play some fun games, followed by a time of engaging worship and teaching you how to draw closer to God.
We will leave Ivanrest Church at 5:00 PM on Friday, February 10 and return at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 12. Cost is $79 and registration will close January 8 or when all of the limited spaces are claimed, whichever comes first.
All students must have both an Ivanrest Church Registration Form and Cran-Hill Liability Waiver completed and submitted to the Ivanrest Church office BEFORE February 1.
