A Sign to You

Luke 2:8-20

Less well-known than Advent and Lent, the season of Epiphany lives in the shadows of its more famous liturgical counterparts. But it is during Epiphany that we, like the first believers, begin to recognize Jesus for who he truly is: Not just a child born in Bethlehem, but the Savior of the World. Today, on the first Sunday of Epiphany, we look at one of the texts we use to make that recognition: The announcement of Jesus’ birth to the Bethlehem shepherds.
