Hope
Psalm 130
The Christian life is a life of hope. But it’s not “hope” the way we often use the word. It’s not wishing, wanting, desiring things to turn out a certain way. Instead, it’s knowing, in a deep and abiding way, that they will. That’s the hope we hold as Christians. We know, in a deep way, that things will turn out the way God desires, and we trust him in that.
