Matthew 6:19-24

As we get ready for our next Practicing the Way practice (Generosity), we’re returning to a sermon series we did last year about living as apprentices (disciples) of Jesus. Today we’ll talk about keeping our eyes on Jesus and how that focuses our lives as we seek to follow him as his people. If you’d like to read a helpful book about what it looks like to follow and live like Jesus as his disciple, I’d recommend John Mark Comer’s recent book Practicing the Way. It’s a really accessible overview of what it means to follow and apprentice ourselves to Jesus.
