Love (Jesus)
John 21:15-19
The ultimate goal of being disciples of Jesus is learning to love him. Not like him. Not worship him. Not have all the right ideas about him or be experts in theology about him. Love him. After all, that’s the question Jesus asks one of his disciples here: “Peter, do you love me?” That seems, at least to a degree, to be the metric for our discipleship to Jesus: Our love for him.
