Matthew 25:31-46

Lent is a season of repentance. But it’s also a season of assurance. Christ comes not just to judge those who reject him, but also to love those who accept him. As recipients of his love, we can be assured in our repentance that Christ still looks on us in favor and welcomes us back home into our relationship with him.

If you’re looking to go deeper into this sermon series, I’ve adapted parts of it from Alexander Schmemann’s book Great Lent, which I’ve found to be a helpful resource on understanding and journeying through the Christian season of Lent.
