Matthew 19:1-12

This morning, we’re stepping into a conversation that goes all the way back to the beginning—God’s design for marriage. It’s easy, in our culture and even in our hearts, to want relationships to be convenient, flexible, and free from lasting consequence. But when Jesus was asked about marriage, He didn’t water down the truth to make it more comfortable. Instead, He pointed back to God’s original design: “What God has joined together, let no one separate.” So today, we’re going to explore what that means: the weight, the beauty, the challenge, and the grace of God’s design for marriage.
