The book of Psalms is perhaps the most beautiful book in all of Scripture (at least in my opinion). Throughout its 150 chapters, readers are subject to songs and poems of joy, gladness, community, sadness, pain, praise, and so much more. Even when certain chapters don’t have anything new to say, the beautiful ways in which those things are said make them worth reading over and over again. Psalm 29 is one such chapter. In this text, Christians are called to see God and to give God praise. A simple message, but one that needs repeating.
