2 Samuel 13:1-16

David’s family—and all of us—keep repeating the same mistakes because we are broken people living in a fallen world where sin is a constant reality. We often act out of emotion or impulse instead of wisdom, which leads us into the same patterns again and again. Even when it feels like God is distant in our pain or struggles, He is actually present in the midst of them, walking alongside us. God steps into our brokenness, offering guidance, grace, and redemption rather than leaving us on our own. Though sin still affects our lives, we are never alone in these cycles because God is always with us.
