The Choice
Deuteronomy 30:11-20
Once they’re in the Promised Land, the Israelites have a choice: Live faithfully as God’s people and enjoy the blessings that come from that, or don’t and experience the consequences. We have that choice still today. Will we live like God’s people, or won’t we? The Israelites didn’t always choose well. Unfortunately, neither do we. And yet the good news of the Gospel reminds us that even in our unfaithfulness and sin, God has chosen us. It’s his choice that makes our relationship with him possible. Thanks be to God!
