Judges 21:25

Happy Lent! Well, maybe Lent’s not “happy.” But hopefully it’s at least meaningful. This year our Lenten sermon series will be adapted from the texts in Judges and 1 & 2 Samuel in our “Big Read” read-the-Bible-in-a-year plan. Through these texts we’ll see the Israelites’ rebellion against God and need to repent as well as our own, which is a core part of what Lent is all about. As always, we’ll also see the loving, forgiving, merciful grace of God too.
