The Story of Salvation
In our passage for this morning, the Apostle Paul warns us away from spending too much time or energy on what he calls “myths” and “endless genealogies.” And yet, with all due respect to him, that’s exactly what we’re going to do this Advent season. We’re going to look at some of the genealogies of scripture and trace how, taken together, they gradually unfold the story of the Gospel, the story of Salvation, and the Story of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
