Church Builder is designed to make creating the site your church needs simple and possible. We designed it to work wth the excellent Page Builder plugin so you can easily create the layout for each page that you need.
More than that you can create any layout for any page you choose. Ever wished you had more than one "home page" layout? Now you can have one for every ministry if that's what you need. Have multiple locations and you need a contact page for each one? No problem. Church Builder lets you build the site any way you want.
Church Builder also has full support for the WordPress customizer built in; there's no need for a separate theme options page. That gives you full visual control over the design of the site. You'll see changes live as you make them. Change colors, add your logo and select from over 600 Google fonts to get the design just right.
If you'd rather not do any of that, it's ok too. The theme will work great out of the box. You can use the content from the demo as a starting point, or go in with a blank canvas. The goal with Church Builder is to let the theme work for you instead of making you feel like you work for the theme. Optional options is one of our highest priorities.
Church Builder is made so you can have a beautiful and functional site no matter the device your visitors use. Your visitors will be checking for directions on their phones as they head to your services. Now you won't have to worry about your site not working for them.
We created the very first responsive WordPress theme for churches and every theme since then has placed a high emphasis on mobile design and Church Builder is no exception.
There are lots of ways to podcast with WordPress, but Church Builder is made for the way that churches share their messages and not how a blog does.
If your church organizes it's messages by series, we have a series option for you. It lets you group the messages in that series together and add in a description with series graphic to help visitors know what it's about.
Each podcast can have its own speaker with speaker archives that list all the podcasts by that speaker. You can also have a traditional date based archive to help people track down a message from November of three years ago.
You can add your podcast feed to iTunes or other services. Church Builder has subscription buttons to let your visitors subscribe. There is also a search function to help your visitors find exactly what they are looking for.
We live in a social world and Church Builder helps connect your church's website with your social media accounts to further engage your visitors.
